Brief:
To celebrate MISA's 90th anniversary, I was approached to design a coffee table book for their commemorative function. The theme was inspired by a walk down memory lane, reflecting cars from different eras. A sepia tone was suggested, but not required and they wanted something clean, classy, and timeless.
Solution:
My chosen design direction embraces the elegance of the 1930s, blending sepia with complementary gold and grey tones to evoke a sense of heritage. To connect the design back to MISA’s brand identity, subtle hints of MISA Blue are introduced, adding a modern touch. The layout incorporates Art Deco-inspired patterns, reflective of the era, to bring depth and visual interest. Combined with imagery of vintage cars, these elements create a cohesive and sophisticated design that celebrates 90 years of MISA’s legacy, balancing nostalgia and timeless appeal.
